It feels like a tuesday but its actually Wednesday already. Since I was away crook on monday the week is flying, it will be friday and the weekend again before I know it!!
I have just been working on our budget for the next two months, with saving every week for the wedding, personal loan and house payments, and then all the other bills coming in from every angle, its getting tight. it also doesnt help when socially we have something on every weekend. So i sat down again today and worked some things out. I think we will survive - just! as long as i stick to the wines and stuff in the cupboard at home and keep the credit card away as much as possible. no more shopping for me for a while either, which is convenient since i think im at least a month off goal now. Which is fine. my own fault after the big set back this weekend. (thanks for the ideas Jo, I might have to do something like that this weekend!)
I also was starting to get a bit complacent about my portion sizes so i went to the supermarket yesterday and stocked up on a variety of the ww/healthy choice/dolmio frozen dinners, which are yum! so ill have a few the next few nights to keep the portion sizes under control.
I also havent exercised since saturday - netball. my back has been really painful, have to go see someone, ive got a bubble thing beside my spine which is making my back ache, the sports trainer gave me a rub at footy on saturday and said i should be getting that checked so ill have to get onto that. anyway it rained last night so i couldnt do much, and sick on monday and sunday. So tonight we have a prac match at netball and tomorrow night is netball training again. Going to get up and go for a walk friday morning and then again either saturday or sunday (as well as netball saturday) so im slowly getting back on track.
Thanks for all your support and great advice, i admit i had a blow out, but im getting new tyres fitted today and they have plenty of tred so ill be able to grip on to something over the weekend!, im a wally arent I!!! Better get back to it, leaving at 4 today for the doctors- fun.. not! talk tomorrow :)
Have a good night guys xx

Okay....
Okay, here I am, I feel like im back in primary school and facing up for confession time... I had a blow out.. come on dont be surprised, i was about due. but i realise that its how i deal with it and bounce back - thats is the real test.
I ate enormous portion sizes almost every week, which included huge servings of home made lasagne on both friday and saturday night, even a couple of bits of garlic bread which I lied and said I wouldnt buy. I had a few wines friday night and then picked a bit more at the left overs, and then saturday night i did the same thing. I had my huge tea, then went out, drank way too much, i cant even say i had no inhibitions, because I knew damn well what I was doing as i snacked on the mini sausage rolls and spring rolls at 4am... home to bed. Sunday - bacon and egg mcmuffin and OJ at 12 for breaky... brunch.. whatever. then lunch went for a few hours, started with meat and salad, then i went back for some more and some more and grazed most of the day.. did you think i was full after this. of course i was. what did we then order and eat for tea - a family size pizza. I had 4 and 3/4 of the big greasy things and the whole time knew I shouldnt have, and knew I had to weigh in the next morning.
I felt shit all day and then yesterday much the same. I think I caught some kind of cold - nearly everyone at the party had it! and i was in bed all of yesterday.. So yes not a good start to my 6 weeks of big weekends hey...
SO - I gained what I lost last week - so i give back all your big pats on the back for how well i did the week before, because it was all back on yesterday morning when I creeped on the scales.
I realise that we all have these things happen, and falling off the wagon is all apart of it, i think because I hadnt done it in such a long time, its even worse this time, and knowing that we have such a busy lifestyle for the next few months makes things seem a bit harder. but as I said in my last post, or a few ago - this is life for us, so if i cant maintain, or lose at the moment then im not quite there yet!
So onwards and downwards, i dont want any more massive weight losses if i cant maintain them the week after, i realise im only back to where i was a week and a bit ago, and i can cope with that. the world isnt over, like i thought it was yesterday! ive just taken a step backwards and know i can take three more forward now.
so back to the track - exercise and tracking wise, and i hope to stay the same or lose a little this week if i get myself back on track in time. saturday will be even bigger, but its sunday that i find is my killer, so im going to put some before and after pics up around the house sunday, even just on the fridge, so i can face it every time i feel like being a pig!
Anyway, thank you for letting me confess, we're all human, we all make mistakes, thats life im afraid, i hope you can see the same if you've had 'one of those weekends' yourself, and if not, keep up the great work, i love hearing how you all go, make sure you fill me in!
Pap smear for me tomorrow night - what a fun week!!!! :( Oh well, could be worse!
take care xx
p.s thanks for the poem jo - your a nutter, and thats why i love ya xx

ITS FRIDAY.... AGAIN!!!
Okay now I think something is going on.. how the hell does it get to Friday this quickly every week... It never used to go this quick... or are we all just getting so much busier!!
Anyway, last night was productive. training was good, then we came home and I made tonights lasagne dinner and cleaned the house from top to bottom, i even cleaned out our bathroom cupboards which im sure you all know is a big job!! so im feeling like the house is up to date to take on the weekend which is good! tonight ill go straight home, get changed and go to work for a few hours, cleaning. then head home at 8 for tea and a few quiet drinks watching the footy with the friends coming over. One of chappy's mates, and I clean with his girlfriend so it works out well being on a Friday night.
Then the rest of the weekend. Im actually really looking forward to tomorrow night and then sunday at mums for mothers day!
On the wedding front - all happening, picked out the guys suits for the wedding this week, they are black with a faint pin stripe and white shirts and ties, very classy and they will each have a small white tulip pinned to them. the little boys will be gorgeous too!!
Also ordered our disposable wedding cameras to go on each table for those happy snaps through out the night and our favours - they are love heard lolly pops in our colour, tiffany blue (which is not far from this colour actually) they will have the name cards attached to them! I also ordered 120 little wedding bubbles which will have a little tiffany blue ribbon wrapped around each one to keep with the theme - and our little cousins will hand these out at the garden ceremony!
So getting there! its good to have ordered and paid for a few things as well! then its just the big expenses when it all gets a bit closer! starting to look at invites as well, i have a lady designing a few templates for me today if she sends them through i might post them here and get your input!
On the ww side of things.. having an okay week, as i said to sherrie this morning, while i dont feel like ive had a perfect ww week and been a bit slack tracking, when i do sit down and think about it, i havent gone over my points, ive been exercising every day and maybe had a few meals that are bigger than the normal portion size but nothing to smack my hands over.. the week is still young though.. but thats not a very good attitude is it! I have my drinks for saturday night and they are points friendly, ill have tea before we go so im full and not snacking and then sunday ill have to get out that friend of mine called discipline when im feeling hung over and crap! who knows i mightnt be too bad.
Big game of netball tomorrow then going to try and get a slow walk in sunday so im hoping to inch a little tiny bit off my 1.2 to goal and get there in the next few weeks! big weekends and all!
I hope your all having a good week, might update the blog a bit today, everyone at works going to footy in melbourne this afternoon! i had to say no.. too much else on this weekend and the rest! so i might have a bit of time up my sleave! have a great weekend guys, and happy mothers day to all the beautiful mums out there xx

Bottom end of the week already!
Oh my gosh the weeks are going quick!! and the weekends will go even quicker now too i think.. I realised today that we have HUGE weekends planned for the next 6 in a row, then one off and then our footy club ball! This weekend is big enough with tea friday night, 40th saturday night, and then mothers day sunday... next week 80s night at the footy club, then to melbourne the next one for best friends birthday. then my future sister in laws 30th, mystery bus trip and then the winery walk about - which is a wipe out!! and then an engagement party! so we are going to be wrecked - and broke! but thats been the theme of the year so far, at least there arent any more weddings for a while i guess!!
So lots on, and lots of reasons to get to goal and go shopping for some new outfits i guess! I bought a few things this week which im really happy with, two winter tops, just plain white and black ones with nice shoulders and then a warmer dressier top, some size 10 pinstripe pants and new boots!! I will have to have a look in melbourne for some other numbers! its nice wearing clothes that fit though and having something too!! the credit card isnt as happy about these things, but ive worked hard and deserve my new wardrobe!!
It also means its going to be a lot slower losing the last 1.2 kilos that i would have liked, but hey ill still get there, i might even surprise myself, i know ill be right if i make smart choices and work hard during the week and then not overindulge on the sundays afterwards!!
We went for our wednesday walk last night, it was zara's actual birthday too so we got her a massive big bone to mung on for the night! then we had tea and relaxed. at about 8.30 i made myself get off the couch do some skipping and weights and other pump exercises, i was burning my quads up, i even yelled out at one time, chappy wondered what i was doing, grunting and groaning from the back room! ouch!! then i did the house work and went to bed, slept well too! tonight its training then cooking a lasagne for tomorrow night, since i have to work after work, i wont be home till 8, and thats when they are coming over to watch the footy and have a feed. so ill get myself organised tonight instead. its a pain but so hard to catch up with everyone so the things youve got to do hey!!
Im looking forward to my marinated chicken fillet and salad on the bbq at mums on sunday too, good hang over food too! ill have a bacon and egg mcmuffin (ww homemade) to get my greasys in too, so im all set.. bit sad im preparing for a hangover, but im being realistic i guess!
Looking forward to our tough game of netty saturday too, ill let you know how i go next week! got to get stuck into the rest of my uni stuff next week have an exam in a few weeks! i know im busy arent i!! but i can cope with it all much better than the big lazy and lathargic Jenna used to!! and i know my limits!!
Nearly time for lunch, i looking forward to a big yummy salad roll today! hope your day is going well, love to hear from you, talk soon xx
p.s thank you for the comments on my last post. i really appreciate all of your friendship, and being able to inspire other people is something I never thought i would be guilty of! that means so much and i also never thought id have any one else out there reading my crazy thoughts so that was nice. As I said to chappy last night - after reading your comments, your all so right.. and my transformation physically is just a bonus in comparison to my transformation mentally. He couldnt agree more. have a great week everyone, xx

DAILY POST
Morning all,
I decided id try and post daily like I did last week to keep myself on top of things and accountable, being so close to goal!
Quick mention - well done to chris with her big loss this week - changing over to core! and alea getting yourself back on track, 4 months till your wedding thats exciting stuff! My ww superstar shez - well done on all your losses, your so close to goal now and you've helped me get so close as well, look forward to maintaining together! and speaking of maintaining - caz is the maintenance guru so plenty of good advice there!!
Last night was a good night, got home we were both stuffed but chappy and i took zara for the usual route - 6km walk, shes been so different since her operation, sooky and temperamental, im just about at my wits end.. wait till i have children, seriously!!
Then we came home, and had marinated lamb chops with vegies, im sticking with my small plate - which i think helped with my massive loss last week. and im not even noticing, im chocka block and its probably a 3rd less than I normally would put on a bigger plate. chappys plate is slightly smaller too which is a bit sneaky of me, but he hasnt complained! we were talking on our walk last night about how different we both eat now, every night id come home and make something HUGE - and RICH and it was like we were eating like kings every night. huge chicken parms with scollop potatoes (that and baked potatoes were our idea of vegies....) or huge bolognaise or carbonaras, no wonder i suffered from acid (reflux).... so its good we can look back like that now!
We were talking about that on the weekend too, when i first got serious about weight watchers in march 2006, it was when the biggest loser challenge was first on in australia, and one of the guys on that said he had changed three things since losing weight.. asthma, acid reflux, and snoring... and i suffered from all three as well and thought well right, if losing weight can change some things huge like that, im keen!
And i was only at the doctors last week and he commented how he hadnt seen me and asked how my asthma was. i said its almost non existant, i still take a preventitive daily but im even easing back on that now too!! so there are so many ways in which i have benifited. I think the most important of all is my happiness. thats the first thing mum and chappy both noticed, how much happier i was. and thats huge! I cant believe how depressed and miserable i was, id have a big crying episode every week and be a mess.
I constantly thought about ending things, which is so so horrible after seeing how far ive come now. I was seriously depressed. I think I had a lot of problems though, and ive only told very few people this, but suffering from bulimia through adolesence was something that i am happy to get out of alive too. I was very sick and skinny (never thought i was mind you) and it wasnt until I met chappy and he knew something was up, he said he wouldnt put up with that kind of crap and i guess i realised the damage i was doing and stopped. that was over 5 years ago now, and i guess im a lucky one, to be able to sort myself out like i have. it wasnt easy, and gaining copious amounts of weight after i stopped making myself sick, but still eating copious amounts of food, led to my weight problems in the 4 years afterwards. it wasnt until last year when i thought, hang on this is my life, im in control here, and enough is enough.. and look at how far ive come... I think the worst thing that came out of it was how sick my sister then got afterwards. not a good role model was i. she was sick for years and ended up in therapy for eating disorders and thats something i have to have on my concious, but she's okay now and we are better friends than we have ever been which is great.
So theres my little story, i know the people that read this are people i can trust so I dont have any problems sharing that. I hope someone out there reads it and can change their life like I have as well. and I also know that you;s know who i am today and thats a much better person than i was back then.
Anyway I better get back to it, another busy day with lots to do. tuesday is such a nothing day though isnt it! training tonight then im making a yummy pasta dish with evaporated milk and chicken mushys garlic and spinach - YUM!
Have a great day, thanks for listening, and ill talk to you's soon! xx

ENORMOUS EFFORTS PAID OFF!!
Hi all, ill get straight to it -
I LOST 2.1 KILOS THIS WEEK!!!!!
I had a sneak peak saturday morning because i felt very different and thought the hard work that week would have paid off for sure. and I was right. I was 2 kilos down on saturday and then lost another 100grams over the weekend.
IM NOW - 1.2KILOS AWAY FROM MY WW GOAL!!
I also passed my 30 kilo milestone by 1.2 kilos! so im feeling really good and proud this week!! I still cant believe how far ive come, but a few looks back at some pictures (the ones I actually let people take, there arent many) I can definitely see!
I also have to take back one of my pairs of jeans i bought last saturday... the size 14s were falling off on the weekend so i might as well swop one over for the 12s or 13s to get wear out of them. these numbers are foreign to me too!!!
had a wedding dream last night, forgot to organise EVERYTHING and was doing it all the day before, chappy said i woke him up sleep talking giving orders about napkins or something silly!!
All in all we had a lovely quiet weekend, worked friday night for a few hours then saturday footy and netty, got second best on with a massive win 87-20. Played out at GD too, my fitness is definitely showing more and more too. Then we came home saturday night, had a nice spa and then pitta pizza for tea. Yesterday we had a sleep in. yummy 97% fat free pancakes for brunch, a salad roll for late lunch and then ww peppered beef and ww chocolate icecream for tea. we went to the footy in the arvo to watch my dads team play and took my hung over sister who ate maccas in the car - gosh it smelt good. but it didnt smell as good as what getting on the scales this morning felt - so i was happy to refuse!!
I hope you all have a great week, i know I will!
Talk to you's soon xx

TGIF
I cant believe its Friday again! Thank god though! Im so hanging out for this weekend!! Today's gone quick but dragged all the same. Im so looking forward to our quiet weekend at home. Ill be so happy when I get home from work tonight (cleaning) but 2 or 3 hours goes pretty quick there so she'll be right!!
I just booked our honeymoon!!
We are flying out Wednesday after the wedding, Melbourne cup is tuesday so we usually do something fun for that and thats enough time to recover from the wedding and recovery day, so its worked out really well, we fly straight to hamilton island and then shute to Lindeman Island (club med) for seven nights. All meals, All drinks, even the cocktails and spirits - you name it, (all day eating and drinking available could be a bit of a problem) i might have to calculate that into my eating plan (roughly of course- im on my honeymoon so im not going to be pedantic about it - im glad it is just for a week for damage control now!!
So thats booked and half paid for.. it will hurt us for a bit now, money wise, im glad we arent doing anything this weekend. Next weekend wont be too bad, we have bought the present just need to pay for drinks and my wine rack is chockablock not having had to buy drinks at all the weddings we've had so that shouldnt be too expensive!
Just have so many bills at the moment - i shouldnt say at the moment - because as ive come to realise, thats life!!
Im really venting in todays post arent i!!
We had a great night last night with nixon (page boy, friends little four year old) that came and had a sleep over. he bought zara a birthday card with a 4 year old badge (its her 4th birthday next week) and some doggy treats, so she loved him!! not having to wear a girly badge on her colour all night though.. haha, no she was fine!! he is such a fun kid, we had a really good night, and he didnt wake till 7 this morning so that wasnt too bad, went for a walk when i did get up and then came home and got organised.
Had lunch with sarah today, and baby ashton, hes grown so much. my pasta dish (carbs for netty tomorrow) was so big, it was delicious though, and chockablock full of garlic too. yum. and i figured that was my pasta for the week and even though it was 2 or 3 over my points, im not going over all weekend and have over 20 bonus points so i enjoyed every mouthful!! Crumbed fish in a sandwhich with lettuce cheese and mayo for tea so ive swapped my lunch and teas around!! im making pitta pizza tomorrow night - another yum. looking forward to coming home from footy, jumping in my pjs and having tea and watching the footy in front of the heater! best thing about winter i wreckon!
Well ive wasted enough time, better do something before i go home. have a great weekend everyone and i look forward to reporting my good news from weigh in on monday! take care x

6 MONHTS TODAY!
Exactly six months until our wedding today! eeek! Im so excited... its still very sureal though!!! I cant wait, its the serious count down time now though... woo!!!
What a constructive night!! I stayed behind at work and almost finished my assignment, got so much more than I thought I would done! came home to a lovely tea (chappys a wizz, chicken mingnongs with mash and vegies) on my small plate too, he's a gem!
Then I decided to go for a walk, and 800m in i thought why dont i go for a run!! I ran the usual 2kms that I do down to the end of town and then thought why not go a bit further. i was sweating and i loved it! i put zara on the lead now (near houses now) and we ran all the way home, worked out to be about 5kms which is the furtherest i have run and i felt great!!
I got home and did the usual weights, sit ups, lunges and stuff and then jumped in the shower!
Jumped in my pjs and then did the rest of the housework and jumped into bed! i was very happy with everything i achieved last night and day 3 of my perfect ww week! yummy hunny crumpets for breaky this morning and im looking forward to my fruit and yoghurt for morning tea! im having a toasted tomatoe cheese and ham sandwhich for lunch today and ive got a ww meal out for tea after training tonight! i also have my freddo included in my points to treat myself this afternoon! i still cant believe how well im feeling and doing at ttom! its great!
Have a good day all, talk soon xx

Hi there, how are you all? Tuesday today, TTOM so feeling very bloated and crampy this morning, just took some nurofen so hopefully that takes care of that. Pump last night was good, i started a bit lower on the weights so im able to walk this week, but as i get stronger ill gradually move up with the weights. went for a quick run around the park before hand and it felt good to run again after not doing much for a while when i was crook.
Training tonight and I have a ww meal out for tea, satay chicken with beans and rice, its quite yummy, bit of spice to it too, and its nice and easy for when we get home late from training. im changing some meals up this week, im having tomatoe soup for lunch today which im looking forward to, especially in this cooler weather! at home by the heater - great!
Ive got quite a bit of study to do tonight after training as well, then staying behind at work tomorrow night to work on an assignment, not sure if i told you this already but ive re enrolled for an extra subject each study period so that i get this degree out of the way a bit quicker, its not impossible but im going to be flat out, but hey now that ive achieved so much with my weight loss, i know for a fact that I can achieve anything i set my mind on!! and ive got lots more energy too, so losing weight has really helped in every area of my life!
I will be a qualified accountant by the end of next year which is perfect timing. the pay rise will be very welcome too!
anyway, bit of a boring post today! i spoke to emma - one of my best friends who lost her mother to a long battle with cancer a few years ago now, we had a big chat about whats the best thing I can do as a friend for trudi and her family during this hard time for them, and we both decided that the best thing i can do is let her know that im here, anytime, anywhere, and at the same time keep things as normal as possible for them all as well.
Have a great day everyone, ill write back soon, keeping accountable on here this week and another weekend off drinking so im hoping to reach my 30 kilo milestone this week (900g off!) Look out!
Take care guys xx
