HUMP DAY - it sure was!

I had a really bad day yesterday, even included chocolate and a udl. i was exhausted and then i had too many nibblies before tea and i felt BLAH! So back on track today and i feel evil going for lunch with my girlfriend who is home to the nice italian restaraunt.. ill just have to keep my choices in pact.. but its not a good way to go into a weekend where we have my brothers engagement party tomorrow and then a friends 30th saturday night.. again it will come down to my choices.. ive decided ill be happy to stay the same this week i think...

A Loss is a Loss

Morning,

Monday again.. weighed in this morning, lost 300grams.. which I was really happy about considering the huge night we ended up having saturday night.. an engagement party, followed by a 21st and then a 30th!! We finished at 5am.. gorged on some left over pizza (it was homemade pitta pizza left over from tea though.. better than the greasy stuff) and then yesterday it was couch potatoe day and crap all day.. so a loss this morning was great! I think it helped that I changed my exercise regime around a bit, with riding and running as well! it was good though I enjoyed the change, and cant make up my mind what ill do tonight... maybe tonight can be an hour walk, tomorrow night 30 min run/walk and then tennis - chappys 28th birthday tomorrow too!

wednesday Ill get up early and go for a walk or a ride, since were having people for tea for his birthday wednesday night.. a day late but tennis tomorrow night, which im looking forward to! might have to start grunting like sharapova... So another good week planned.. we do have my brothers engagemetn friday and then a 30th saturday night but ill just make wise choices again and even if it is another small loss, a loss is a loss!! After that ive got a month off the grog!! i plan to lose 4 kilos in that time, which will be very easy not drinking... that will put me in the 70s at least! Look out!! March is looking busy again so ill have to get ahead a bit in Feb... Dress shopping at the end of march which im really starting to get excited about!!

Anyway better get back to work..

mini goals for this week, at least 40 minutes each day of exercise, with sunday as a day of rest.. i think ill need it..

2-3 litres of water a day

PLAN & TRACK stick to points - every day.. if im going to drink this weekend im going to have to work my butt off and save the points for it... (not going to worry about the 12 alcohol sugar points though) im sure over 2 days and nights ill have more than 12 drinks....

PICS FROM THE WEEKEND

WEEK 2 DOWN - WITH SUCCESS

So 2 weeks down and 3.3 kilos shed.. looking at that - its great! looking at the loading I did in December, Im still not back to my 83.. I weighed in this morning instead of yesterday at whatever time i climbed my hangover out of bed! We had a massive sunday, lots of fun though. Friday i left the wedding early with the trotts, and that kept me in bed or on the loo for the next 30- 40 hours.. then sunday i was right, had a massive day on the bus trip and ate and drank too much, then in a fit of hangover bingeing yesterday i thought i was sure to gain when i weighed in, especially after losing a whoping 2.9 kilos in the first week!

i didnt - i lost, I lost 400grams which brings me to 3.3 in 2 weeks! My January goal was to be back at 83, and im 1.2 kilos off that, which is this weeks goal! I have decided this weekend will be grog free, ill drive to the engagement and 21sts that we have on instead, good excuse and then ill feel good sunday, wont turn to the fridge for comfort and I can look forward to a good weigh in!

And were only the 16th of the month, so things are looking good even after the bender weve just had and how crook i was feeling over the weekend, i said to chappy though - its very interesting to know as soon as i go off track and go wild with the food side of things, my body sticks up its nose and gives me tummy pains and the runs! so its not letting me off easily!!

Tonight im going for a swim to cool down after work and then ill go for a walk after tea, latina light pasta (ricotta and spinach) with latina garlic and onion sause for tea tonight, i look forward to that each week! such a better pasta alternative for the week! and then ill sit down to night and plan the rest of the week out..

Lucky to be here today.. car blew a tyre on the way to work this morning and the tyre man came to fix it and said i was lukcy i was only going 50-60 and around the corner, because the state my tyres were in i was lucky to be here still! it was a bit of a shock and that was the good news after he tells me i need 4 newys and then i go home at lunch and theres even more bills on the bench... they were extra ones we werent really expecting to be as much for stuff around the house so its set us back a bit! Lucky im cleaning as a second cash job otherwise i dont think we'd leave the house!!

MINI GOALS

Morning all, I watched the getting started dvd I originally recieved 2 years ago with my ww at home pack last night and think that I need to sit down and reassess my goals.. ive been too focused on the 10-15 kilos until goal that Ive forgotten to break it up into MINI GOALS!

- I want to be back to 83 before the end of January... which means a loss of 4.5 the first month
- I want to exercise 6 days of every week, no matter what we have on,
- I want to be under 80s by the end of FEB! (which is only 4.6 kilos away!)
- I will get over 10000 steps every day!
- I want to start riding and swimming more
- I will blow up my gym ball thats sitting in the cupboard and use it 3 times a week
- I will track every day until goal
- I will get out the pilates and yoga dvds i have stashed in the cupboards and give them a go
- I will go to every step class when it starts up again after school holidays (ill pay in advance!)
- I will incorporate running into my walking regime..
- I want to lose 3 kilos a month which would bring me to my ww goal (75) at the end of march when we go dress shopping! and then my own personal goal (72) at the end of april..
- I will maintain my goal weight range - between 72-75 for the six months before our wedding.
- I will reasses my goals hereafter and go from there!

BACK IN THE GAME...

IM BACK IN THE LOSERS GAME...

I LOST 2.9 KILOS FIRST WEEK UP!

I am SOOO happy after a so so week, but still no alcohol, and all the junk we ate over the break... and then some.. I still had a few slips but i got over them and kept up my walking, and im even premenstural which is usually my littlest loss week so i was stoked!!

It has pushed me even more for this week to work hard in advance for the wedding friday and bus trip sunday.. 1.6 kilos until im back to my pre december weight and then its all downhill from there!! 9.6 kilos to my ww goal, bring it on!!!

GOALS FOR THIS WEEK

NO CHOCOLATE - thats right it might be TTOM but ive had my quota for this month, so none!
MINIMUM OF 10,000 STEPS EVERY DAY,
MINIMUM OF 2LITRES OF WATER EVERY DAY
NO SUGARY SPIRITS ON THE WEEKEND, WINE OR VODKA AND DIET COKE...

AND TRACK TRACK TRACK...

End of week 1

Its been an up and down week but i think im getting there slowly.. im not doing it all at once and realise there are little things i need to change, but i think ill be okay.. which is big for me to say...

Last night the night before and this morning, i thought about not walking and sulking and feeling crap and miserable instead, but i just told my mind to shut up and get back to me when ive finished my walk.. and it was a lot more positive afterwards thats for sure! I have to be a bit more concious of not over eating and tea and limiting lunch to one sanwhich or roll and not snacking while its in the breville cooking... I have to track everything and get to my 10000 steps a day, so i put the pedometer back on yesterday and got 11200 today im going for more than that, went for a 20 minute walk this morning and then i have to work tonight (got a second job (cash) cleaning offices and stuff) so basically im getting paid to exercise and clean, so im making the most of that, walking the long ways and stuff like that..

This weekend is a dry weekend - we have nothing on and I cant wait!! I cant wait to start feeling 100% again either, after i finish flushing all the christmas and new years toxins from me!

Tonight chappys making steak sangas and wedges for tea while i work, and tomorrow ive got stuff to make pitta pizzas, ill do a fried rice with chicken on sunday so my meals are all planned. monday is our latina pasta night which i always look forward to and its very easy.,. and im trying to get back into the habbit of the fruit and ww snacks bizzo.. so i can see the light and im already starting to feel better!

Anyway better get some work done - oh guess what - im not sure if i posted this in the last one but i reenroled in uni - to finish my accounting degree, i have two years which I will complete by corraspondence after hours, one of my new years resolutions which im very proud of myself for!

Its a new day... Its a new year...

Hi there,

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND I HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS...

Santa bought me lots of good things, heaps of camping gear and... a couple too many of his kilos!!

I am up thats for sure but i am back on track too, we drank and ate everything and anything for ten days straight.. this little white duck was very naughty, so i sat down last night went back to week one of my at home books and set the menu and plan for the week..

Chappy and I both set new years resolutions of losing 15 kilos and when is it ever a better time to start! I know we will both get there too!

And no Maccas or KFC for all of 2007, we dont have this that often not having one in our home town but its usually a treat if we do, so none of that - which wont hinder the 15 kilos coming off anyway!

So theres the plan, welcome back for those back at work.. ten months tomorrow until our wedding! look out! I hope you all have a cruisy week and i look forward to hearing from you. I am making myself more accountable on these blogs and will keep in touch on the boards to keep myself focused, good luck to anyone else starting over, hope to hear from you soon xx
